Our Roots

Prophetess Dawn has been called by God since the age of 6 years old. She has served in varied positions since the age of 9. At 9 years old she gathered young and old at the sea shore in Portland, Jamaica. Prophetess Dawn sang to people, prophesied before large crowds of what is now and ahead, lay hands on the sick, and interceded on people's behalf. Prophetess Dawn continued in that gifting and strong anointing under the leadership of her grandmother and grandfather. Prophetess Dawn migrated to the Bahamas at the age of 17. From the Bahamas she migrated to the United States in 1977. She was accepted in college and became a nurse. She decided to further her education by becoming a nurse practitioner. She graduated as one of the nomination of the council. The graduate division have conferred upon Dawn, the degree Doctor of Philosophy summa cum laude with greatest distinction in physical therapy. Having demonstrated ability by original research. After graduating Prophetess Dawn moved to New York. She worked at one of the best hospitals after working at the hospital for several years she decided to do private therapeutic nursing with some very well known celebrities. She traveled the four corners of the world with them for over 20 years. Then tragedy struck when her son and his fiancé were killed by his roommates, two days before Christmas. As a result of God's intervention, Prophetess Dawn is saved today. In Prophetess Dawn's community a lady invited her to a Baptist church where she was baptized. She served from 2004 - 2015 as a evangelist and a prophetess where she won over 2,000 souls. Then in 2015 she took a break and started to do street ministry which involved soul winning, feeding the homeless and providing clothing and shelter for them. She then became a traveling evangelist around the world. Prophetess Dawn became the founder, a prophetess, a evangelist, and a Pastor at Safe Heaven House of Prayer the day her son and fiancé were killed.
